Resume Tips That Actually Get You Noticed

Recruiters skim dozens of resumes a day, so clarity wins. Keep it to one or two pages with clean formatting and no clutter.

Lead with results, not duties. Instead of “handled customer calls,” write “resolved 50+ customer inquiries daily with a 95% satisfaction rating.” Numbers make achievements believable.

Tailor the top third of your resume to each role by mirroring the keywords in the job post. Many employers screen with software before a human ever reads it.

Finally, proofread twice and ask someone else to check it. A single typo can undo an otherwise strong application.
