River Valley Regional Food Bank

One of six Food Banks in Arkansas, and one of 200 that make up the national Feeding America network, we gather excess food and distribute it through our 185 hunger-relief partners in eight counties to help food-insecure people.
Our four trucks cover more than 270 miles a week, rescuing up to 10,000 pounds of food that might otherwise be destined for landfills because of packaging or close-to-expiration date. We also receive food donations from local and national Feeding America partners, such as Walmart and Tyson foods, and we purchase foods to round out the nutritious offering we make possible for hungry individuals and families. Our warehouse is open for tours, we have volunteer jobs that help us organize our food, and your donation of one dollar makes possible seven meals through our buying power, efficiency and dedication to ending hunger.
