Overpayment — buyer “accidentally” sends too much and asks for a refund of the difference; the original payment reverses later. Verification code — someone asks you to read back a code sent to your phone; that code authenticates them into an account in your name. Off-platform move — immediate pressure to continue by private message. Urgency — “my courier is already booked, just send the code.”
