Diversability® is a social enterprise dedicated to rebranding disability through community engagement. Founded in 2009 by Tiffany Yu at Georgetown University, it has grown into a platform that promotes disability pride and equity. The mission of Diversability is to amplify disabled voices and enhance visibility, representation, and access for disabled people. It serves as an ecosystem builder and connector, fostering a community of over 7,050 members and hosting more than 160 events focused on disability inclusion. Diversability also recognizes disabled leaders through the D-30 Disability Impact List and collaborates with corporate partners like Hearst and Adobe to promote understanding of disability in the workplace. The organization operates in eight cities and aligns its efforts with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, contributing to a more equitable society.
